WHY IS EQUINA BIOSA EFFECTIVE?
The fermentation yields a pH adjusted drink not unlike vinegar. It not only offers its own suite of health benefits including killing harmful bacteria, fighting inflammation and supporting good cardiovascular health but it is also the perfect delivery media for the live probiotic bacteria. When successfully delivered to the smaller intestines, maximum benefit is guaranteed as nutrients are absorbed and waste is excreted.
WHAT IS THE SCIENCE SAYING ABOUT PROBIOTICS?
The science confirming the positive health effect of probiotics is growing exponentially in not only depth but also in breadth. It has been known to directly aid digestive health for a long time and indirectly support the immune system, fight inflammation and improve metabolic processes in the whole body. Now multiple sources are researching and documenting the positive impact of probiotics on mental health including fighting anxiety, depression and supporting increased confidence. The scientific community refer to these cultures as psychobiotics.
ARE ALL PROBIOTICS THE SAME?
Just like in humans, the digestive system in horses are designed to break down the food they eat. At the same time, it also challenges the probiotic microbes that need to reach the intestinal tract alive and ready for action. To survive the perilous journey through the stomach, freezer dried powders are coated with a tough, outside capsule. The capsule makes it difficult even for the gut and its micro flora to digest which is important to deliver the friendly microbes to the intestines.
Equina Biosa uses a proprietary fermentation process that yield a pH adjusted liquid similar to vinegar. The vinegar not only supports live, bio-active microbes but is also the only effective delivery media that helps live probiotic cultures survive the perilous journey through the gut into the intestines.
HOW IS EQUINA BIOSA MADE?
Equina Biosa is crafted through a proprietary fermentation process. The fermentation process is designed to create a community where a complex blend of three unique live probiotic cultures can harmonize, multiply and metabolize. The fermentation process is controlled by temperature and monitored for pH (acidity level). The low pH creates an environment that prevents the development of harmful bacteria and acts as a natural preservative.
IS EQUINA BIOSA NATURAL?
Equina Biosa is made with 100% natural & organic materials and contain no fillers, flavour’s or non-active ingredients. Every ingredient not only contributes to the therapeutic power of Equina Biosa but also contributes instrumentally during the fermentation process.
WHAT IS A PROBIOTIC?
According to the WHO, probiotics are “live microorganisms that when administered in adequate amounts confer a health benefit on the host.”
Different probiotics have been shown to treat or prevent a wide variety of health issues.
Certain Health Benefits are common to all Probiotics (Core Benefits):
Regulation of intestinal transit
Normalization of perturbed microbiota
Turnover of enterocytes
Competitive exclusion of pathogens
Short-Chain fatty acid production
Some probiotic effects are found only among specific species of probiotics1:
Bile salt metabolism
Neutralization of carcinogens
Lastly, certain benefits may only be found among specific strains of bacteria1:
Neurological effectsImmunological effectsEndocrinological effectsThe production of bio-actives
